Remember, My Wonderful Ladies;

I have a tattoo on my body representing, and celebrating you. This tattoo stresses the importance of our role, the woman. Take pride, ladies. The world often underestimates the power we hold both physically and spiritually. We are an instrument to those around us. In times of malnourishment, the abundance of women can provide physical and mental nourishment while at the same time being able to evoke an inner strength at the times where it most challenging to do. Our purpose is promising to life, our purpose is to serve. We are strong. The woman may not attain the overbearing role of hunting and things of that nature, but the fragility of a woman makes her as brave and as capable in a different way. Women have a strange gift to endure pain but oppress it, too; The woman collects all her former knowledge and feeds it to her children. We have the power to give. Give life. Give mental, emotional and spiritual strength & stability to our men. The gift of taking care. Life begins within us. The banana leaves are the foundation, the life and everything after it; it provided the possibility of life and is life in itself in the same way women have been able to bear fruit and feed. The tattoo embraces the curvature of my breast, the signature characteristic of the woman. We are because men can’t do it alone. We are so we can soften, because our patience differs from that of a man’s. We are so that our children can grow strong, nevertheless so that our future can be.
